I'm Robin Freeland, a fully qualified piano tuner, piano repair technician and traditional French Polisher based near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire in the Cotswolds.

I graduated from The School of Music at Cardiff University with a First Class Honours Degree, and after completing my Diploma in piano tuning and repairs have been offering my services as a piano tuner and repairer in Cheltenham and surrounding areas of Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, parts of Warwickshire, Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds.

If you have just acquired a piano from friends or family, or if it has been some time since your piano’s last tuning, it may require a more comprehensive service such as:

• A pitch raise if the piano’s pitch has dropped significantly
• Various action repairs to address issues such as stuck or sticky keys
• Action regulating to ensure your piano action is functioning optimally
• String replacement and loose pin repair

I recommend a standard piano tuning initially to establish the condition of your piano, and will advise if it would benefit from any of the above.

I am also qualified in traditional French Polishing and am able to repair areas of damage, ranging from small scratches to more involved repairs to your piano or furniture.
